Air bank 2×50 l / 420 bar — COLTRI (buffer cylinder set)

The 2×50 l / 420 bar COLTRI air bank is a stationary set of two buffer cylinders connected in a system together with a filling section, storing compressed breathing air. It allows SCBA and diving cylinders to be filled by cascade transfer, without continuous compressor operation — shortening service time and reducing equipment wear.

Note: Supplier: ASF — selection, delivery and service by SafeTech. Air banks are usually stationary, but are also found in vehicles and specialized SPgaz containers, as well as in diving centres. Configuration is selected to match the station's requirements.
