Dräger Flame 2700 / 2500 — fixed flame detectors (UV/IR, IR3)
Dräger Flame is a family of fixed flame detectors for the rapid detection of fires in industrial installations and explosion-hazard areas. The models differ in technology: the Flame 2700 is a multi-spectrum IR³ detector (high false-alarm immunity, detection of hydrocarbon flames), the Flame 2500 combines UV and IR, and the Flame 2350/2300 use UV/IR or IR². Fast response, a wide detection angle and range, 4–20 mA, HART and Modbus outputs, together with Ex construction (ATEX/IECEx) and SIL functions, allow integration with extinguishing controllers and safety systems.

Note: The choice of technology (IR³, UV/IR) depends on the type of fuel, the environment and the risk of false alarms. The detector-placement design and integration are carried out as part of the deployment.
Key features

Petrochemicals, fuel depots, gas installations, paint shops, hangars and explosion-hazard areas — rapid fire detection and triggering of alarms/extinguishing.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
How do the Flame models differ?
By detection technology: 2700 (multi-spectrum IR³), 2500 (UV/IR), 2350/2300 (UV/IR or IR²) — they are matched to the fuel and environment.
Are the detectors immune to false alarms?
Yes — multi-spectrum technologies (e.g. IR³) distinguish a flame from other radiation sources, reducing false alarms.
Can they be connected to an extinguishing system?
Yes — 4–20 mA/HART/Modbus outputs and relays allow integration with controllers and extinguishing systems.
