Protective boot for GasAlertMicroClip XL

Protective boot made for the GasAlertMicroClip XL detector. It shields the housing and the display without covering the sensor inlets or the sounder.

Why a boot

Protects the housing against impact and scratching during field work.
Keeps dust and grease off the instrument.
Extends the working life of the detector between housing repairs.

A boot is no substitute for inspection or calibration — the sensors still need a bump test before use. See gas detector servicing.
