Audio Resq geostereophone (acoustic victim locator)

The Audio Resq geostereophone is an acoustic instrument for precisely locating people trapped under rubble using stereophonic listening. Two probes (sensors) deployed across the rubble let the operator, thanks to directional hearing, determine exactly which direction the victim's sound is coming from, while an amplifier and filters enhance the signals (tapping, voice) and suppress background noise.
