The GfG Microtector II G460 is one of the world's smallest detectors for up to 7 gases simultaneously — with five sensor positions supporting flammable gases (LEL), oxygen, toxic gases, CO₂ (IR) and volatile organic compounds (PID sensor). Unlike the four-gas G450, the G460 adds a PID sensor for VOCs and a multi-channel IR sensor (CO₂ and hydrocarbons), significantly broadening the detectable range. It stands out with the loudest-in-class 103 dB(A) alarm and a clear „traffic light” system (the entire display changes color depending on the state). IP67 enclosure, optional G400-MP2 pump, DS400 docking station.

Note: The measured gases depend on the configuration of the 5 sensor positions — we select them to match the hazard. The exact ranges of individual sensors are confirmed from the current manufacturer datasheet during selection.

How does the G460 differ from the G450?

The G450 is a classic 1–4-gas detector (flammable, O₂, CO, H₂S). The G460 supports up to 7 gases, adding a PID sensor (volatile organic compounds) and a multi-channel IR (CO₂ and hydrocarbons) — a much broader range.

Does the G460 have a pump?

By default it is diffusion-based; an optional G400-MP2 electric pump (up to 0.5 l/min) is available for sampling from confined spaces — it does not shorten the detector's runtime.

How loud is the alarm?

103 dB(A) — one of the loudest in its class; it is complemented by a visual „traffic light” in which the entire display changes color depending on the hazard state.
