The Honeywell BW RigRat is a user-friendly, portable multi-gas area detector for area protection — it warns workers of nearby gas hazards, indoors and outdoors (−40…+60°C). It offers up to 8 weeks of operation on a single charge, up to six slots for interchangeable sensors (EC, PID, IR, catalytic) and wireless monitoring. Several units can build a wireless safety perimeter, and the whole system works with remote-monitoring software and the Touchpoint Plus controller.

Up to 8 weeks, depending on the sensor configuration and connectivity settings. It is the longest operating life in its class.
Does the BW RigRat work wirelessly?
Yes. It supports Bluetooth, optionally a mesh network and Wi-Fi, and GPS. Several units can be used to build a wireless safety perimeter and monitor them remotely, including with the Touchpoint Plus controller.
