Applications
Continuous, fixed monitoring of combustible gas, toxic gas and oxygen concentrations in general industry, oil and gas, and power generation installations — inside production halls and outdoors at facilities.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What gases does the Ultima X Series detect?
Depending on the sensor fitted — combustible gases (0–100% LEL), oxygen and a wide range of toxic gases (including CO, H₂S, Cl₂, NH₃, HCN, benzene, hydrogen). SafeTech selects the appropriate sensor for the specific hazard.
What is the SafeSwap feature?
It is a patented MSA solution that allows a sensor to be replaced in a hazardous area without declassifying the zone, reducing installation downtime.
Is the device suitable for outdoor use?
Yes — Ultima X Series monitors are designed for both indoor and outdoor applications, across a temperature range of -40°C to +60°C.
