Paratech Hooligan — forcible entry tool (76 and 91 cm)

The Hooligan is the basic forcible entry tool — one implement that opens a door, breaks a window, pries a grille and shuts off a gas valve. Paratech forges the heads and claws from high-alloy steel and heat treats them; the central bar is stress-proof steel with a machine-grooved 2.5 cm grip that does not slip in a glove. The whole tool carries high-phosphorous electroless nickel plating for hardness, wear resistance and corrosion protection.

Key features

  • Pike — long, sharp, tapered and gently curved to fit a lock or latch.
  • Duckbill — long, with a smooth incline, for forcing windows and doors.
  • Standard claw — machine sharpened, with a recessed nail puller and parallel openings sized for gas shut-off valves.
  • Metal cutting claw — a variant for heavy-gauge metal and composites.
  • Heads and claws forged from high-alloy steel and heat treated.
  • Stress-proof steel bar with a machine-grooved 2.5 cm grip.
  • High-phosphorous electroless nickel plating — hardness and corrosion protection.
  • Lightweight variant with an aluminium bar for teams carrying the tool on them.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

What is the difference between the standard and the cutting claw?

The standard claw has sharpened claws, a nail puller and openings that fit gas shut-off valves. The cutting claw is prepared for heavy-gauge metal and composites, at the cost of some standard-claw functions. Pick by what dominates your work: forcing entry or working on vehicles.

Which length — 76 or 91 cm?

The longer tool gives more leverage when prying; the shorter one is easier to handle in a tight corridor or inside a vehicle. In practice 76 cm goes inside, 91 cm outside and to grilles.

Is the tool electrically insulated?

No. It is forged steel and conducts electricity. Work near live installations requires the usual isolation and verification procedures.

Do you supply spare parts?

The hooligan has no wear parts — it is a single forging. If damaged, it is replaced as a whole; we help match the same end configuration.
