Hand aspirator pump kit with 0.3 m probe

Hand aspirator pump with a 0.3 m probe and hose — it lets you draw an air sample from a distance, before anyone enters a confined space.

Why a pump alongside a diffusion detector

A diffusion detector measures the air that reaches the sensors on its own — that is, the air breathed by whoever is holding it. It will not tell you what is at the bottom of a manhole or inside a vessel before it is opened. A hand pump draws the sample through the hose and delivers it to the detector.

When it is indispensable

Before entering a confined space — manhole, tank, duct, cargo hold.
Checking the atmosphere at different depths.
Testing a vessel or installation before opening it or before hot work.

Hand aspirator pump (bulb) with hose.
0.3 m probe in steel.
Sampling adapter for the detector.

Note: when measuring through a hose you must wait for the sample to reach the sensors — the time depends on hose length. We cover this on our training courses.
