Is the BTN Series suitable for an explosive atmosphere zone?
No — the BTN Series is a detector for unclassified zones and light industry, without ATEX/IECEx certification. For Ex zones, the P, PE or PQ series is recommended.
What gases does the BTN Series detect?
Depending on the sensor used: LPG, methane, butane, propane, hydrogen, pentane (catalytic), carbon monoxide, hydrogen sulfide, oxygen, chlorine (electrochemical) and freon (semiconductor).
Does the BTN Series support Modbus?
Yes, optionally — the BTN-RS module adds a Modbus RS485 output for integration with a monitoring system.
