Which detector should I choose for confined spaces (wells, tanks, sewers)?
Usually a 4-gas detector measuring explosive gases (EX), oxygen (O₂), hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) and carbon monoxide (CO) — preferably with a pump, so the atmosphere can be checked before entry. We will match the model to the specific hazard and standard.
How often does a gas detector need calibrating?
Full calibration is usually carried out every 6–12 months, and a bump test is recommended before each use. We run our own service and calibration station in Gdynia and calibrate more than 3,500 detectors a year.
What does ATEX mean and when is it required?
ATEX covers equipment approved for use in explosive atmospheres (Directive 2014/34/EU, EN 60079 series). It is required at fuel stations, wastewater plants, breweries, in the gas industry and in the chemical industry, among others.
Which detector for hydrogen sulphide (H₂S) at a wastewater plant?
A single-gas H₂S detector or a 4-gas multigas detector in an ATEX version. For continuous supervision we also offer a fixed system or an area monitor.
Do you serve customers outside the Tricity area?
Yes. We receive and return equipment by courier from all over Poland, deliver and service nationwide, and also handle B2B customers in European markets (EN/DE/UA).
Which compressor for filling SCBA cylinders?
Bauer or Coltri, breathing air to EN 12021. We match the output to the number and capacity of cylinders — we will help with both selection and service.
Are you an authorised service point?
Yes — we are an authorised Honeywell distributor and service station, and our range also includes Dräger, GfG, MSA and WatchGas. We hold the status of a certification station recognised by the Director of the Maritime Office in Gdynia.
Do you run training courses?
Yes. Through the SafeTech Safety Academy we run practical training in gas detection, breathing apparatus operation and technical rescue for industry and emergency services.
