"Vest" inspection apparatus — short-duration air apparatus for inspections and entries

The „Vest” inspection apparatus is a lightweight, short-duration compressed-air breathing apparatus designed for quick inspection and check entries into hazard zones. It is built on a plate-reinforced vest worn over outer clothing and fastened with a belt, with an air cylinder, reducer, pressure gauge, warning signal, a positive-pressure breathing valve with a push-fit connector (AIR KLIK) and a panoramic mask carried in a pouch. A solution for people carrying out short inspections where a reliable air supply is needed without a full self-contained apparatus.

Note: A short-duration apparatus, for inspections and quick entries — it does not replace a full SCBA for long-duration work. This is a new product in the SafeTech range; configuration and prices — to be confirmed.

No — it is a short-duration apparatus for inspections. For long-duration work in an atmosphere unfit for breathing, SCBA apparatus (e.g. Dräger PSS) or airline systems are used.
