The AreaRAE Pro is a wireless, portable area monitor from Honeywell for simultaneous detection of toxic and combustible gases, volatile organic compounds (VOC), gamma radiation and meteorological parameters. It supports up to 7 sensors (up to six interchangeable 4R+ plus a 7R+ photoionization PID) and over 20 sensor types replaceable in the field. It works with Honeywell remote-monitoring software — relaying real-time readings to a map, so you can locate and assess the hazard from a safe distance.

Note: AreaRAE Pro vs AreaRAE Plus: the Pro measures VOCs in ppb and has an optional gamma sensor (radiation) — for CBRN/hazmat tasks and event security. The Plus measures VOCs in ppm and has no gamma sensor — for industry, shutdowns and fence-line monitoring.
