BW Multi-Unit Cradle Charger — five-bay charger

BW Technologies charging station for five detectors at once. Fits GasAlertMicroClip XT, XL and X3 instruments. A solution for plants and services that keep a larger fleet of detectors and do not want to charge them one by one.

Runtime and charging time

Typical runtime of a GasAlertMicroClip XL detector is 18 hours on one charge, and a full charge takes under 6 hours. In practice this means instruments put away after a shift are ready before the next one.

Charging versus calibration

The charger keeps instruments ready, but it does not replace calibration. Detectors still need a bump test before use and periodic calibration with a reference gas. We describe both on the gas detector servicing page; the reference gas you need is also in our range.
