EKO-C1 radioactive contamination meter — alpha/beta/gamma radiometer
The EKO-C1 is a portable meter (radiometer) for radioactive contamination with two detectors: a Geiger-Müller counter and a scintillation (alpha) detector. It measures alpha and beta surface contamination and the dose rate from X-ray and gamma sources. It performs well in isotope laboratories, at border crossings and in areas following nuclear and transport accidents — wherever contamination must be detected and assessed quickly.

Note: Configuration selection and calibration depend on the application. The device requires periodic metrological inspection.
Key features
- Two detectors: a Geiger-Müller counter + a scintillation (alpha) detector.
- Measurement of alpha and beta contamination and the dose rate of X-ray and gamma sources.
- Energy range: X/gamma 30 keV–1.5 MeV; beta > 500 keV; alpha > 4 MeV.
- Surface-contamination and dose-rate measurement in one device.
- For laboratories, border crossings and post-accident areas.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
What does the EKO-C1 measure?
Alpha and beta surface contamination and the dose rate of X-ray and gamma radiation — thanks to its two detectors (G-M and scintillation).
Where is it used?
In isotope laboratories, at border crossings and in areas following nuclear or transport accidents.
