Drip tray (containment, drive-on)

A drip tray is a leak-tight, foldable containment tray on which equipment, a vehicle or a container is placed or driven, to safely collect leaking liquids — oils, fuels or chemicals. Low, flexible walls (often foldable or drive-on) ease access, and a chemically resistant liner protects the ground and sewers. The collected liquid can be pumped out for disposal.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)

How does a drip tray differ from a decontamination pool?

The drip tray captures leaks under equipment/vehicles; the decontamination pool is for carrying out decontamination and collecting rinse liquids.

Can a vehicle be driven onto it?

Yes — in drive-on versions with low, flexible walls.
