WS sorbent nonwoven / mat — oil sorbent for oil films and at the source of leaks
WS sorbent nonwoven (mat) (AWA-Eko) is used to remove oil film from the surface of pre-treated water and to absorb oil at the source of leaks — e.g. in car washes, oil-fired boiler rooms or at leaking installations. Properly placed underneath, the nonwoven absorbs and retains leaking oil while letting water flow away. The sorbent is non-toxic, unsinkable, hydrophobic and reusable; absorption capacity up to 25 g of oil per 1 g of sorbent. Available in sheets and on a roll.

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
Where is it best to use the sorbent mat?
The best results are achieved by using it at the source of the leak — placed under the leak point, it absorbs oil and lets water through. It also works well for oil film on pre-treated water.
Can the mat be reused?
Yes — the sorbent is hydrophobic and reusable; once saturated the oil can be recovered, and the used sorbent handed over for disposal.
In what formats is it available?
In sheets (e.g. 400×400 mm, 410×460 mm, packages of 100 pcs) and on a roll of 50 lin. m × 500 mm.
