Combi fence boom (sorbent-containment)

The combi fence boom is a fence-type boom that combines mechanical spill containment with the absorption of petroleum-based substances. A float keeps the boom on the surface, a skirt (fence) holds the slick, and a sorbent insert/cover absorbs oil from the water surface. It performs well on watercourses, in ports, at sewer outfalls and in places with periodic spill risk.
