Finboom 350 / 400 / 500 oil booms — floating booms for spill containment
Finboom oil booms (AWA-Eko) are lightweight, floating fence-type barriers that separate oily water from clean water — for both preventive and emergency action in containing and removing oil spills. They are used on inland waters, in ports and shipyards, and on still and flowing waters. The boom is built from sections joined in segments from oil-resistant plastics, with cylindrical foam floats (unsinkable, puncture-resistant), a load-bearing strap and a ballast chain along the bottom. Sections are joined with quick connectors into a boom of any length. The 350, 400 and 500 models differ in freeboard, draft and strength.
Finboom-type oil booms (AWA-Eko) are lightweight, floating fence-type barriers that separate oil-fouled water from clean water — for preventive and response operations in containing and removing oil spills. They are used on inland waters, in ports, shipyards and on still and flowing waters. The boom is built from sections joined segment by segment, made of oil-resistant materials, with cylindrical floats made of foam plastic (unsinkable, puncture-resistant), a load-bearing tape and a ballast chain in the lower part. The sections are connected with quick couplings into a boom of any length. Models 350, 400 and 500 differ in freeboard, draught and strength.

Which Finboom model should I choose?
Finboom 350 for smaller, calm bodies of water; 400 for universal use; 500 (larger freeboard and draught, stronger 900 g/m² material) for more demanding conditions and longer immersion in water. We will help you choose.
How long a boom can be built?
Any length — the sections are joined with quick couplings. Standard section lengths are 10–20 lin. m depending on the model.
Is the boom unsinkable?
Yes — the foam-plastic floats make it unsinkable and puncture-resistant, while the ballast chain keeps it upright.
