Flexi oil booms (Standard and River) — floating booms for rivers and waterways
Flexi oil booms (AWA-Eko) are lightweight, floating fence-type barriers separating oily water from clean water — for emergency and preventive action in containing oil spills. They are built from joined sections of oil-resistant plastics, with foam floats (unsinkable, puncture-resistant), a load-bearing strap and a ballast chain. Available in Standard and River versions (for rivers and fast-flowing streams — with additional tie-down cords fastened to the load-bearing line). Five sizes (350–1100) for varying depth and wave action.
Flexi-type oil booms (AWA-Eko) are lightweight, floating fence-type barriers separating oil-fouled water from clean water — for response and preventive operations in containing oil spills. They are built from joined sections made of oil-resistant materials, with foam-plastic floats (unsinkable, puncture-resistant), a load-bearing tape and a ballast chain. Available in a Standard version and a River version (for fast-flowing rivers and streams — with additional restraining lines attached to the load-bearing rope). Five sizes (350–1100) for different depths and wave conditions.
Note: The version and size are selected to suit the body of water (river/port/reservoir, waves, depth). Accessories: guiding triangles, connectors, shore connections (separate data sheet).

How does Flexi differ from Finboom?
Flexi is a boom for response operations (Standard/River), while Finboom has cylindrical floats with very high stability and is also suitable for long-term immersion in water. The choice depends on the body of water and operating time.
What does the River version offer?
Additional restraining lines attached to the load-bearing rope — they allow the boom to be operated on rivers and fast-flowing streams.
Which size should I choose?
The greater the waves and depth, the larger the model (greater freeboard and draught) — from Flexi 350 to Flexi 1100. We will help you choose.
