Reels for oil booms (ZZ) — manual and powered

Reels for oil booms are devices that greatly facilitate deploying and reeling in the boom on a body of water. They are available in manually driven versions (ZZ-40, ZZ-50, ZZ-200) and mechanically driven versions (ZZ-200/M, ZZ-400/M, e.g. with a hydraulic motor). The base is made of welded steel sections, the drum is mounted on rolling bearings, and the whole unit — in the standard version — is protected by hot-dip galvanising. On request, the reel can be fitted with a wheel set and a tow hook for easy transport on roads.
