Ansell AlphaTec™ 1500 PLUS (Model 111) — Type 5/6 protective coverall (breathable SMS)

Ansell AlphaTec™ 1500 PLUS Model 111 (formerly Microgard® 1500 PLUS) is a lightweight, breathable Type 5/6 protective coverall made from anti-static SMS fabric. It filters out 99.9% of solid particles larger than 3 microns while allowing air and water vapour to pass through, reducing the risk of heat stress. A three-piece hood, a two-way zipper with a sealable storm flap and finger loops improve fit and comfort. The silicone-free construction is suitable for paint spraying; the fabric meets the EN 1149-5 anti-static standard.

Note: This is Type 5/6 protection (particles and low-level liquid hazards) — it does not replace Type 3/4 chemical protective suits or Type 1 gas-tight suits. Useful, among other things, for work with asbestos, dusts and decontamination.
