Ansell AlphaTec™ 4000 (Model 111) — type 3/4/5 chemical protective suit

The Ansell AlphaTec™ 4000 Model 111 (formerly Microchem® 4000) is a durable, full-body chemical protective suit — type 3/4/5 protection (Category III). Its multi-layer barrier laminate has been tested against permeation by more than 200 chemicals, including chemical warfare agents. Welded and taped seams, double cuffs and a double zip fastener ensure a high level of tightness, while an elasticated two-piece hood, waist, cuffs and ankles make it easy to don and work in. The material has certified antistatic properties (EN 1149-5).

Note: Resistance to a specific substance must be confirmed against the manufacturer's permeation chart. This is a partial-protection suit (type 3/4/5) — it is not gas-tight (type 1). Available models include 103, 121, 122, 125, 162, 181, 182.

Is it a gas-tight suit?

No — it is partial protection of type 3/4/5. For gas-tight protection (type 1), use the AlphaTec FLASH or LIGHT.
