The Dräger PARAT 3000 is an escape filter apparatus protecting the respiratory tract during evacuation, with an ABEK 15 gas filter (organic and inorganic gases and vapours). Available as the PARAT 3100 (half mask) and the PARAT 3200 (mouthpiece with nose clip). It guarantees at least 15 minutes of protection, is ready for immediate use and maintenance-free for 4 years (total shelf life up to 12 years).

What does the ABEK 15 filter protect against?

Against organic and inorganic gases and vapours (classes A, B, E, K) — e.g. cyclohexane, chlorine, hydrogen sulphide, sulphur dioxide, ammonia, in accordance with the DIN 58647-7 test.

Does the PARAT 3000 replace a compressed-air apparatus?

No — it is an escape-only apparatus (min. 15 minutes), for safely leaving a zone, not for work or for oxygen-deficient zones.

How often should the filter be replaced?

Every 4 years (4-year maintenance-free period), with a total shelf life of up to 12 years.
