Dräger PAS® AirPack 1 — mobile breathing-air supply system
The Dräger PAS AirPack 1 is a mobile (trolley) compressed breathing-air supply system designed for airline operation where the operating time of a cylinder apparatus is insufficient. A lightweight carrying system and pneumatics derived from Dräger apparatus, a regulator supplied with breathing air at an inlet pressure of 200 or 300 bar, and a medium-pressure indicator. Suitable for work in explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).
The Dräger PAS AirPack 1 is a transportable (trolley) breathing-air supply system designed to operate in airline mode where the working time of a self-contained apparatus is insufficient. A lightweight carrying system and pneumatics derived from Dräger apparatus, a reducer supplied with breathing air at an inlet pressure of 200 or 300 bar, and a medium-pressure gauge. Suitable for work in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).
Key features
- Transportable breathing-air supply system (airline mode) — long working time.
- Reducer supplied with breathing air at an inlet pressure of 200 or 300 bar.
- Medium-pressure gauge for the cascade / in-line circuit.
- Relief valve to reduce the medium pressure from the hose.
- High-pressure (cylinder pressure) warning whistle.
- Suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).

Frequently asked questions (FAQ)
When should an airline system be used instead of a self-contained apparatus?
When the working time in the zone exceeds the air supply of a back-worn cylinder — the transportable system provides a continuous supply from a larger reserve/cascade.
Is it suitable for Ex zones?
Yes — the AirPack 1 is suitable for potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX Zone 1).
