The Dräger PSS 5000 is a high-performance next-generation self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) for professional fire brigades and rescue services. It combines an ergonomic, stable carrying system with rigid attachment of the straps to the backplate, advanced strap materials (Dräger Standard DS / Professional DP) and a swivelling waist belt. Integrated hose-routing channels minimise the risk of entanglement, and the tool-free „slide and lock” mechanism shortens servicing. Fully compatible with the Dräger Bodyguard 7000 signalling and warning electronics (real-time air data, PASS distress signal unit).
