The Fenzy Aeris Comfort (Zenith) is an integrated open-circuit self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) from Honeywell Safety Products, compliant with the latest EN 137 Type 2 standard. It consists of a high/medium-pressure (HP/MP) reducer, a comfortable harness with aramid-fibre straps, a full-face mask, a positive-pressure breathing valve and a whistle integrated with the high-pressure gauge. Comfortable, solidly built, with a composite ergonomic backplate and ideal weight distribution on the hips — for fire-brigade and industrial duties. It holds a CNBOP approval certificate.

What does EN 137 Type 2 mean?

Type 2 covers SCBA apparatus meeting stricter requirements (including resistance to high temperature) — intended for the most demanding conditions, e.g. for the fire brigade.

Which valve should I choose — Zenith or Sx-Pro?

The Zenith opens automatically when connected to the mask; the Sx-Pro activates on the first breath and is easy to connect with gloves on. Both are positive-pressure — selection depends on operator preference.
