Dräger CPS 5800 — gas-tight protective suit of type 1b (Zytron® 500)
The Dräger CPS 5800 is a limited-use, gas-tight protective suit of type 1b, made of the soft Zytron® 500 laminate with seams welded on both the inside and outside. It offers a very long breakthrough (permeation) time — over 480 minutes for a wide range of chemicals, including acetone, ammonia, chlorine, ethylene oxide, 96% sulfuric acid, 40% sodium hydroxide and toluene. Fixed butyl + laminate gloves combine chemical protection with puncture resistance.
