Dräger CPS 6800 — gas-tight protective suit of type 1b (Umex)

The Dräger CPS 6800 is a reusable, gas-tight protective suit of type 1b, in which the breathing apparatus is worn outside the suit. Made of the flexible, durable Umex laminate, it also performs well in cryogenic work. Gas-tight PUR closure, replaceable gloves and boots, and a radio pocket. Also available as a transport kit.

Note: Chemical resistance for a given substance is confirmed in the Dräger resistance table. Certified to EN 943-1:2002.

How does the CPS 6800 differ from the CPS 6900?

In the CPS 6800 (type 1b) the breathing apparatus is worn outside; in the CPS 6900 (type 1a) it is inside the suit. Both are made of Umex material.
