DuPont Tychem® 6000 F (formerly Tychem® F) is a limited-use chemical protective suit with an enhanced barrier, providing type 3-B/4-B/5-B/6-B protection. Made of a barrier film laminated onto reinforced Tyvek® (a 4-layer structure), it withstands pressure of up to 6 bar and protects against highly toxic organic/inorganic chemicals, biological agents and selected chemical warfare agents. Stitched seams overtaped with barrier tape.

6000 F has a significantly higher barrier (film on reinforced Tyvek, up to 6 bar) and protects against more toxic chemicals and chemical warfare agents. 2000 C is lighter protection.
